Banjo-Kazooie Remastered Concepts (Fan-Art)

Here is a (fanart) redesign and some explorations I did of Banjo & Kazooie from the Rare Ltd. franchise: Banjo-Kazooie. I looked at their original models from the Nintendo 64, the different official renders of the duo, and studied their personalities from the game. My friend George Crudo and I had lots of discussions about design choices, as we put our heads together as to what Banjo and Kazooie would look like if they were "remastered" for modern-day gaming. We are both huge fans of the game, so it was a great learning experience and I enjoyed the super engaging discussions on design and art direction (and of course us nerding out about the games). I am very thankful and honored that he was interested in doing a 3D sculpt from my concepts. Thank for for viewing! Please check out George Crudo's sculpt when you get the chance!

Banjo's fur in a more realism + stylized art direction. This time the tan parts of the design act as a fur discoloration- similar to some bears.
