Bow Kid : "A Hat in Time - Seal the Deal" Co-op Character
For A Hat in Time's "Seal the Deal" DLC, I had the privilege to work on some of Bow Kid: the newest kid on the block for the game! I worked on this character alongside Andrew Coleman, Omni Jacala, and Chris Szczesiul. They worked on the rest, while I focused on the hair varients.
My objectives was to make the sculpts of her different hair styles, and use some of those sculpts to make the game-res meshes.
Omni Jacala and I worked together on the default hair and sprint hair; he came up with a hair system (using the single strands of the hair sculpts) to make it work easier for the different hair styles. I baked those hair styles, while he did the retopology. For the snow hat hair, and the witch hat hair, the uvs, retopology, and baking were all done by me. It was a pleasure to work with Gears for Breakfast for this character! Lots of teamwork and passion was put behind this project- and the DLC as a whole!
